FRGN (pronounced Foreign) is the alter ego of Farhan Shafie, a 25 year old rapper, songwriter and drummer. FRGN grew up around music and beat making all his life, having been part of concert & jazz bands in school. He soon developed a love for lyrics, co-writing numerous original compositions including his debut single 'Brand New' and most recent R&B collaboration 'Set On You' featuring singers Yazsar and Tiara Azalea. FRGN's passion for the spoken word and telling stories through song led him to discover rap at a young age and he is greatly inspired by such master lyricists as Mike Shinoda, J Cole, Drake & Childish Gambino.
