Zrina’s music is an invitation to her journey of growth… from singing cartoon theme tunes as a kid, to listening to 16 bit music while playing games on her Sega Mega Drive, to discovering music apps on the iPad, and now to exploring and producing music. Performing a mix of indie electronic covers and originals on her Instagram, Zrina combines live singing, looping and DJ-ing with Ableton Live. Born and raised in Singapore, Zrina longed to find her own voice & path… releasing her first song on Youtube, “Stay with me”; made with her iPad in her bedroom. That sparked the beginning of her interest in music production. Inspired by the likes of FKA twigs, Kimbra & Kllo to name a few; Zrina pursued a professional certificate course focused on electronic music production from Berklee Online. This year, Zrina has released an independently produced music video to her single “You and I”, which marks her first official release as an electronica singer songwriter/producer. After opening for RF Jam’s Hancai Beach Party in March alongside other local acts, Zrina plans to do more live performance as well as working on her first EP.
