Founded in 2012, the Singapore-based band was named after the famous mock tail and actress ‘Shirley Temple’ herself.
Inspired by Indie-rock pioneers, Arctic Monkeys, Shirly Temple strives for greater heights never before seen on local waters. Having set their minds on performing Glastonbury Festival someday, the band dishes out quality sets show after show. With influences from the likes of The Strokes, Little Joy, Frank Sinatra and P. Ramlee; Shirly Temple consistently improves their sound in efforts that it reaches more audiences. Despite having full-time jobs, the band manages to squeeze through their tight schedules to make music and carry out their passion for the art. Needless to say, this band is a concoction of substance and the desired will to succeed and they will stop at nothing to make their dream a reality.
