YAØ is a rising singer/song-writer who is constantly pursuing a distinctively unique music direction. His musical confections sound like a love child of urban soul and contemporary pop. He kicked off 2019 properly, picking up the ‘New Kid On The Block’ award in the 1st ever Singapore Youth Music Awards. His 2018 City-pop inspired single ‘Scenery’ has landed him the coveted cover of Spotify’s New Music Friday Singapore in the release week. His self-produced tune ‘No Stress’, with underground rapper Ae$Op Ca$H, has gone heavy rotation on Singapore’s radio station 987. The single has won support from Canadian, American and Australian music sites like Uranium Waves, Chill N Trap and Asian Pop Radio. As an upcoming music act, he has performed at Shine Festival and Singapore Night Festival in 2018.
